Patient Information

Discharge

Patients may only be discharged with approval from the attending doctor. The hospital will support patients and their families to complete discharge procedures quickly and conveniently.

Discharge time

Standard discharge time is before 11:00 AM. For late discharge, additional fees apply:

  • Discharge after 12:00 PM and before 5:00 PM: 50% of daily room charge
  • Discharge after 5:00 PM: 100% of daily room charge

For maternity patients:

  • Vaginal delivery: discharge after 2 nights of hospitalization
  • Caesarean section: discharge after 4 nights of hospitalization

If admission occurs within 12 hours before delivery or discharge is later than the standard length of stay, additional fees will be applied. The cashier will provide detailed explanations.

Hospital fees and payment methods

  • Hospital fees are updated every 2 days.
  • Once discharge is indicated, the cashier will prepare the invoice and inform you of all charges.
  • Payment methods: cash, bank transfer, or credit card.

For patients without insurance:
The cashier will provide a detailed breakdown of hospital charges and relevant documents for payment and completion of discharge procedures.

For patients with health insurance or insurance guarantee:

  • The hospital will send the invoice to the insurance company for verification, approval, and payment instructions.
  • If the insurance company confirms coverage, you will sign the invoice at the cashier and pay any non-covered expenses (if applicable).
  • If your employer covers hospital fees, please provide a Guarantee Letter at admission or within 24 hours after admission.
  • If no Guarantee Letter is provided or the insurance company declines payment, the patient must settle the invoice directly.

After all payments are completed, you will receive a discharge file, including:

  • Discharge paper
