Clinical and Interventional Cardiology

Scope of Services

Medical (Non-Invasive) Cardiology:

• Consultation, diagnosis, and treatment of common cardiovascular diseases: hypertension, dyslipidemia, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and adult congenital heart disease.
• Outpatient management and primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
• Treatment of comorbid cardiovascular conditions in coordination with relevant specialties: cardiac care during pregnancy, cardiovascular diseases in patients with thyroid disorders, chronic kidney disease, and more.

Cardiac Emergency & Intensive Care:

Working in close coordination with the Emergency Department to manage urgent cardiovascular cases: myocardial infarction, acute arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes, acute heart failure, etc.

Interventional Cardiology:

• Close collaboration with the Diagnostic Imaging Department for coronary CT angiography and additional investigations.
• Coronary angioplasty and stent placement.
• Interventions for heart rhythm disorders: electrical cardioversion, temporary or permanent pacemaker implantation, catheter ablation.

The department also monitors hospitalized cardiovascular patients and coordinates with the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for cases requiring critical care.

Early screening & preventive counseling

• Comprehensive cardiovascular screening and preventive counseling are provided to help patients detect risks early and manage long-term heart health.

• The latest-generation Abbott EnSite X EP 3D cardiac mapping system—the first in Vietnam—enabling doctors to clearly visualize intervention sites, minimize tissue damage, and increase procedural success rates.
• Modern digital subtraction angiography (DSA) system for coronary angiography and interventions, meeting stringent infection control regulations.
