Prevention of coronavirus infection at the Hanoi French Hospital

Confronted with the situation of pneumonia from infections with the novel coronavirus, we would like to inform that:

  1. There has been no case of virus 2019-nCoV infection at the hospital
  2. The suspected cases will be transferred to the recommended hospitals under the guidance and instruction of Ministry of Health of Vietnam.
  3. The patients with those symptoms and experience should hole up at home and inform the local health care facility for surveillance (under recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam):
  • Flu-like symptoms such as cough, fever, runny nose, shortness of breath, and
  • Traveled to or resided in China (including transit at airports) in 14 days prior to symptom onset, or
  • Have close contact with and live closed to the confirmed or probable case of 2019-nCoV in the 14 days prior to symptom onset.
