Job summary
Scope of the work with Procurement department:
- Review, evaluate and implement the professional updates procedures of Tendering and comparative proposals, ensuring the compliance with current requirement of local codes and laws. Professionally and efficiency implementation said programs following the approved Hospital’s budget plan
- Review and evaluate the procurement procedure, from receiving the Purchase Request to appoints the correct vendor/ supplier, follow up Purchase Order and delivery, linked to the inventory and stock level management. Coordinates with IT department when needed
- Cooperate with the Purchasing Manager and Services Director in making yearly plan for purchasing equipment, submits BOM to review and approval based on Hospital budget plan
- Periodically carry out market review to have the needed adaption for Purchasing’s activities, based on the actual operating condition of Hospital and the market
- Standardize all contracts of the hospital that related to procurement process, from buying medical equipment to ordering consumable materials, renting equipment and service contract for departments
- Process the purchase orders for non-medical products, support to order medical items when required (Process purchase orders and/ or the related contracts)
- Support others activities of Purchasing department when required.
Other functional departments support (in coordination with the related managers)
- Review, evaluate and improve processes and procedures in the functional departments of Servicers or other departments of the hospital with a focus on improving customer-care quality, workers’ safety, compliance and efficiency.
- Timely receive and professional handling guest complaints in cooperation with the Services Director and the functional managers of the department.
- Monitoring and completion all the report of Services Department, in coordination with the managers of functional departments
- In coordination with managers of Services Department to carry out improvement programs and, as needed, required training programs
requirement
- Graduated from University or above
- Proficiency with computers and related software applications
- Good understanding of the standard procedures, requirement of local laws regarding to procurement processes
- Experience in services industry, preferably hospitality or healthcare in management or consulting
- Fluent in English. French is an advantage
