The Pharmacy Department at HFH plays a key role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications through close collaboration with physicians and clinical teams. The department is actively involved in prescription review, medication safety, and clinical support across various specialties.
During the internship, the students gain supervised hands-on experience in daily activities of the Pharmacy Department. The program also includes training in several clinical departments, including Pediatrics & Neonatology, Inpatient Care, and Psychiatry & Psychotherapy, where the students work with pharmacists and physicians to analyze inpatient prescriptions, review treatment options, and check for prescribing errors and potential drug interactions.

Speaking about her motivation, Ms. OUHAJ Inès shared:“I chose to complete my internship at HFH to expand my knowledge, particularly in medical practices. I hope to strengthen my critical thinking and pharmaceutical analysis skills and return with valuable professional experience.”

Reflecting on her experience, Ms. BOUAZIZ Asma said:
“This internship has been very meaningful for me, both personally and professionally. It has opened my mind and confirmed my desire to continue gaining international experience in the future. Looking ahead, I would like to pursue further studies and build a career that will allow me to work abroad, using my diploma while developing my skills in an international environment.”

Beyond their professional training, both students also shared their enjoyment in discovering Vietnamese culture and experiencing daily life in Vietnam, making the internship a truly enriching experience.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Head of the Pharmacy Department, shared:
“The Pharmacy Department is always ready to support and accompany students throughout their learning and practical training at the hospital. This internship is not only highly beneficial for students approaching graduation, but also an enriching experience for our pharmacists. It provides an opportunity for students and pharmacists to exchange the latest knowledge from leading pharmacy schools worldwide while applying it to real-life practice in the Pharmacy Department of an international-standard hospital in Hanoi. Moreover, the program allows international students to engage in cultural exchange and discover the beauty of Vietnam and its people.”
At HFH, we hope this internship not only provides practical learning in a real healthcare setting, but also helps students experience our patient-centered care philosophy, where safety and patient needs come first.
Operating in line with international standards, HFH offers a supportive and globally aligned internship environment and continues to welcome local and international students through ongoing collaboration with medical and pharmaceutical universities.
