Accountant – Account Payable

• Responsible for the efficient operation of the accounts payable section;
• Ensure that the accounts payable policies and procedures as laid down by management are consistently complied with;
• Carry out monthly reconciliation of all supplier’ sub-accounts;
• Prepares appropriate outstanding invoices and journal entries for month-end;
• Reviews the input VAT claim before forwarding it to the General Ledger Accountant;
• Monthly VAT return;
• Monthly Bank reconciliations;
• All bank transfer settlements;
• Perform all other work delegated / assigned by the Financial Controller.
