Open Day: H.pylori bacteria and Stomach Cancer

Everything should concentrate on the prevention of stomach cancer: Once a diagnosis of gastric cancer is made it will cause terrible distress for the patient and his family

H.pylori infection is responsible for up to 80% of stomach cancers. H.pylori infection may already occur during childhood, transmitted via the mouth because of poor food hygiene or from person to another. You or your relatives may even be infected without showing any symptoms

Scientific studies have shown that relatives of a patient with gastric cancer are more likely to develop the same disease, even if the risk is relatively low but should be monitored.

Please join our experts and discover more about HP bacteria, related diseases such as gastritis, treatment, and most importantly the prevention of stomach cancer with Dr. Jean Pierre Massart – Gastro-enterologist and Dr. Bernard Guillaume – Visceral Surgeon at the Open Day: H.PYLORI AND STOMACH CANCER.
