These benefits will be applied for any additional services or treatments resulting from the check-up as mentioned above, as per recommendation or prescription by the doctor, in so far that these services as scheduled within 14 days from the date of health check or results reporting.

Preparation before your health check

• Blood tests: Fast, do not eat or drink soft drink, juices, honey, milk,alcohol, coffee, tea within 12 hours before blood test taken. The best time for taking blood sample is in the morning.
• Urine test: Cleans genital area carefully with tap water, pass some urine and collect middle stream urine.
• Stool test: Collect stool sample including mucus, blood, loose stools.
• ThinPrep PAP Smear test:
  • For sexually active women
  • The best day for performing this test is on the 3rd to 5th day after the end of your period
• Don’t do this test when:
  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Obvious inflammation of cervix
  • On treatment for infection with vaginal tablets.
  • You have vaginal examination or have sexual activity 24 hours prior to the test
• Using medications: Don’t use diabetic drugs before examination (the risk of hypoglycemia when fasting). High blood pressure medications can be used as normal.

Remarks:

• Please make an appointment in advance
• Please be presented in the Reception 15 minutes before your booking time
• Those who have multiple diseases or have special disease should consult with GP doctor before choosing the package.
• To minimize medical waste for saving of environment, Hanoi French Hospital will no longer provide medical imagery film when the result is normal. Only when required and for results showing abnormalities, will we provide imagery, and this on CD or via mail.
