Neurology

The Neurology Department at HFH is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of disease involving the central, peripheral and autonomous nervous systems ranging from migraines to complex autoimmune diseases.

The department provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for both acute and chronic cases, for patients over 14 years of age.

The department provides 6 days/8 hour services for out-patients, including neurophysiology assessment services as well as 24/7 services for the management of hospitalized patients.

Core Functions

Comprehensive neurology care for all types of conditions, acute, chronic, preventive and check-ups, including: 

  • Chronic headaches and migraines.
  • Cerebral Palsy.
  • Cerebral Vascular Disease.
  • Stroke management.
  • Neuromuscular Diseases.
  • Autoimmune disease such as multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis.
  • Movement Disorders.
  • Inflammatory Diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
  • Parkinson disease.
  • Dementia related disorders such as Alzheimer disease.

The following procedures are also available in addition to:

  • Electroencephalogram (EEG).
  • Electromyography (EMG).
  • Nerve Conduction Studies.
  • Evoked Potentials.

Patient Population Served

HFH treats patients above 14 years of age and adults for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all conditions related to the nervous system.
