Happy International Midwives Day 5/5

The work of midwives is one of profound significance, nurturing the seeds of future life. 

• These dedicated professionals are trained to care for mothers and newborns, assisting in childbirth, providing postnatal care, and ensuring the psychological and physiological wellbeing of mother and baby.
• Midwives are often seen as “godmothers” for their pivotal role in bringing newborns into the world. They are compassionate, supportive, and create a sense of security for mothers, helping them smoothly navigate the birthing process 

Reflecting on her profession, Pham Thanh Thu Hien, Midwife Teamleader, with over 35 years devoted to the “guardianship” of mothers and babies, said: “Midwives appear in the most crucial moments of a woman’s life. If we work with our hearts, giving our all, mothers can feel it.” 

“Let’s do it from our hearts, not to be recognized or remembered by patients, but so that newborns are welcomed with the love of a midwife, providing them with positive energy from the moment they are born.”

On International Midwives Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to these incredible individuals for dedicating invaluable moments to nurturing love every day, making the journey of expectant mothers and babies lighter and brighter.
