Thorough pre-anesthesia assessment to identify risks from the outset
Before the procedure, an anesthesiologist carefully reviews the patient’s medical history, current medications, allergies, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, as well as other anesthesia-related risks. Identifying and managing these risks from the outset enables the anesthesiologist to select an appropriate anesthesia and monitoring plan for each individual patient.
Endoscopy preparation with surgical-level safety checks

Key vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation, are continuously monitored. This allows any changes during anesthesia to be promptly identified and managed, while the gastroenterologist can focus on the endoscopy and any necessary interventions.
Two-stage post-anesthesia recovery monitoring
Following the procedure, patients are initially monitored in the operating theatre recovery area. Once their condition is stable, they are transferred to the day-care unit for continued monitoring for at least two hours before having a light meal and meeting with their gastroenterologist for follow-up.
