CAREFULNESS IN GASTROINTESTINAL ENDOSCOPY TO AVOID MISSING LESIONS AND TO DETECT CANCER EARLY

At the recent scientific conference “Advances in Early Cancer Diagnosis and ESD Techniques” organized by the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases on April 15, local and international doctors and specialists engaged in in-depth discussions on this topic.

Assoc. Additionally, combining precise, well-positioned biopsies performed with the correct technique enables the early identification of abnormalities even when lesion images are unclear.
The conference also presented several real clinical cases and highlighted the application of NBI endoscopy in the early detection of gastric cancer — assisting endoscopists in accurately identifying difficult-to-detect lesions at very early stages that could easily be missed by conventional endoscopy.
