Financial Arrangements
For out-patient visits the consultation fee will be paid upon doctor’s consultation. Charges for laboratory tests, imaging services, medications or other outpatient services will be made prior to rendering those services.
Upon confirmation of admission for treatment and/or surgery you will be asked to verify the estimated charges and to sign your consent. Our receptionists, insurance officers and cashiers will assist you with the process. Hospitalization bills will be finalized and settled prior to your discharge.
No private debt will be honored.
Insurance Card
At HFH we partner with the majority of national and international insurance companies. If you have insurance coverage, please present your insurance card and policy details, ID card or Passport, to our insurance or admission staff who will contact your insurance company to obtain guarantee of payment for your treatment. If your insurance company does not provide direct billing with our hospital our staff will assist you to fill out the Claim Form and necessary paperwork to facilitate the reimbursement of your claims.
Deposit
A deposit may be required at the time of admission. The estimated amount will depend on the proposed treatment and room selected. Should you have insurance and we have not obtained a letter of guarantee by the time of your admission you will also have to make a deposit. Our admission staff will provide you with further details. Upon receipt of said guarantee of payment from your insurer we will arrange a refund accordingly.
Refund and Additional Payments
You can pay by cash or credit card should your insurance not cover your treatment cost.
Cash paying patients will receive a refund should the deposit be more than the actual expenses incurred. Credit card deposits will be debited to your credit card account, and not in cash, as per State Bank stipulations. In the event your deposit is insufficient to cover the incurred charges you will be advised to top it up during your hospital stay. Our patient service staff will provide you with regular financial updates during your stay.
