SHORT-TERM TRAINING PROGRAM “CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION – ANAPHYLAXIS MANAGEMENT”
1. Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to identify cardiac arrest cases and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on patients.
1.1 Knowledge
- Able to present the diagnostic criteria for cardiac arrest
- Able to explain how to initiate an emergency response system.
- Analyze the technical requirements of advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Able to describe the indications for defibrillation in cardiac arrest resuscitation.
- Able to describe the types of emergency equipment and medications used in the treatment of cardiac arrest.
- Analyze the key indicators to monitor after restoring natural circulation.
- Analyze the severity of anaphylactic reactions.
- Understand the anaphylaxis treatment protocol
1.2 Skills
- Be able to perform basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Able to perform defibrillation, airway management, and ventilation.
- Follow the anaphylaxis management protocol as prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
1.3 Attitudinal goals
Develop a sense of urgency and calmness in managing cardiac arrest and anaphylaxis on the spot.

3. Program Time Allocation
The course includes:
- 9 theoretical lessons (equivalent to 9 credit hours)
- 14 practical sessions (equivalent to 14 credit hours)
- End-of-course test: 1 sessions
4. Issuance of certificates
Certificate of participation in continuous medical education in accordance with Circular No.32/2023/TT-BYT
Number of lessons: 24 lessons (equivalent to 24 credit hours)
